DVN Configuration
Aori defines a custom security stack per pathway, requiring unanimous attestation from all configured DVNs for a message to be receivable. The table below lists each chain's assigned DVNs and the required verification threshold.
What is a DVN?
LayerZero delegates message verification to application-configured DVNs — independent off-chain entities that attest to the validity of cross-chain payloads before they can be executed on the destination. Each DVN independently observes the source chain, verifies the payload, and submits an attestation on the destination.
Aori requires unanimous verification: every configured DVN for a given pathway must attest to a message before it can be executed. This means a single compromised or unavailable DVN cannot unilaterally pass a fraudulent message, and all DVNs must agree before settlement proceeds.
