Authentication
Some actions may require identification through authentication.
For each JSON-RPC methods that do require authentication (e.g making, taking, cancelling an order etc.), there will generally be several options of authentication provided:
- Authentication through an API Key
- Signature-Based Authentication (if using your own wallet for
aori_makeOrderandaori_takeOrder)
You will generally find yourself authenticating through an API key.
Generating an API Key
You can apply for an API key at https://access.aori.io (opens in a new tab).
Funding Your Account
Aori allows traders to either bring their own wallet / custody solution or for Aori to create one for you.
By default, an on-chain wallet address is created for you when generating an API key but you do not have to use this.
